This Blog Includes:

Greetings to everyone. My name is _____ and my topic for today’s evaluation is India of My Dreams. In my dreams, I hope to see India as a thriving nation where people are free and happy citizens. India of my dreams is free of malicious institutions like the caste system and poverty. I hope to wake up to a developed India where issues like gender disparity, discrimination, social prejudice and economic despair are no longer hindrances to people’s growth and happiness. I look forward to technological advancement being in full force in India, along with a breakthrough in medical facilities. I wish to see a happy India and I hope to work for it. Thank you for listening to my speech. I hope we all work towards a better India together.

Check Out – Speech on Indian Education System

Good morning to everyone present. My name is ____ and I will be giving a speech on India of My Dreams for today’s assessment. India is a beautiful yet flawed country but in my dreams, India is so much more. India of my dreams is not flawed, it is not hindered by issues like poverty, violence, crime, insensitivity and prejudice. India of my dreams is the beacon of hope, progress, development and growth for its millions of citizens.

We can not achieve a flawless nation without addressing its problems. India, despite its immense development, is still one of the poorest nations in the world. The Indian education system has seen great developments yet we have the largest number of illiterates with young girls dropping out of school because of problems like poverty, social stigma, preference for sons, and lack of accessibility to schools and colleges. Moreover, I hope that there’s enough progress in technological advancement so that resources such as medical facilities can improve and pandemics such as COVID-19 can be managed with the right medical infrastructure.

India of my dreams is a safe place for women, unlike the current India where women are afraid to be independent. Indian public spaces need to be more safe and secure for women to walk freely whenever and wherever they want. India needs to safeguard the interests and rights of the minority so that we all progress together. Indian women need a voice, a political voice and proper representation so that they can affect change and bring policies that help other women. I hope one day we will eradicate these issues and live in peace.

India is a grand nation with multiple problems; caste, religion and class are some of the greatest issues in India. We must work towards a nation where insensitivity, intolerance and poverty have no space. We must take the work of our forefathers ahead and work towards a greater, more diverse and harmonious India where people are not divided by social conventions and stereotypes.

I hope we can all work together and make India a great nation one day. Thank you.

India of My Dreams Essay

500+ words essay on india of my dreams.

All of us love our country and have a strong attachment to this ancient land of ours. We want to see a prosperous and happy India. Each one of us has a dream of how India should develop and progress. Just as Jawaharlal Nehru, our first Prime Minister had said at the time of independence that he had to solve 300 million problems (the population of India at that time); similarly, each one of us may have thought about the “India of my dreams”. The Father of our Nation, Mahatma Gandhi also expressed his thoughts on this topic. Now, their thoughts are published in the form of a book named “India of my Dreams”. Here, we have provided an Essay on India of My Dreams which is a sample essay. Students can take ideas from this essay and then write an Essay on India of their dreams by putting their own thoughts into words.

India of My Dreams

The India of my dreams will be a place full of peace and harmony. People will be filled with compassion, happiness and enthusiasm. I see an India where each individual will have a strong value system, where all human beings are equal. Everyone will have his or her role in the governance of the country directly as well as indirectly. I dream of an India which has people who are self-contained, self-reliant communities with truthful and transparent lives with good health, education and lives.

I dream of India as a country where everyone has access to education. There are children who belong to poor families and cannot afford education because of the costs of education. For such children, education should be provided freely. Moreover, education should be provided irrespective of gender discrimination. The girl child should be given equal opportunities similar to the boy child.

Women Empowerment

The India of my dreams includes women who are respected everywhere. They have power and rights equal to men. They are treated as an extremely important member of the family where they can take decisions and have financial independence. They must get a safe environment where they don’t have to worry about crimes such as rape, physical assault, kidnapping, acid attack, domestic violence, dowry system, sexual harassment at the workplace, etc. They must feel safe and protected so that they can utilise their full potential and energy in the right direction. This would enable them to showcase their talent and thus contribute to the development of the nation.

Corruption-Free India

Corruption is the biggest hurdle in the path of the development of our country. If our government and political system become corruption-free, then our country will develop fast. The bribery system will come to an end and all bureaucrats will function with integrity and accountability. Every government servant will take responsibility for their work. So, the India of my dream will be corruption free.

Employment Opportunities

Creating employment opportunities for youth is one of the key factors that contribute to the development of a nation. India which I dream of should have enormous opportunities for youth so they can be easily employed. There should be jobs in every sector so that one can work in the area of his/her interest. In this way, India will reach great heights.

Clean, Green and Pollution-Free Environment

The India of my dreams will be clean, green and healthy for everyone. People will enjoy the greenery, fresh air and pollution-free environment. The highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene will be maintained in the India of my dreams. Citizens will actively participate in making India clean so everyone gets a healthy environment.

This is my India — a great country, a land of peace, prosperity and truthfulness where no one is afraid of speaking the truth and where there is no corruption. It will be a country where women are respected and people from all religions coexist and where every citizen is proud to be an Indian. It will be a country free from violence, terrorism, hunger and suffering.

Essay on India of My Dreams for Students and Children

500 words essay on india of my dreams.

India is a country where people of all cultures and religions coexist together. I suppose that each of us has dreamt about some version of India. Obviously, we may dream about anything at any time, and as Indian citizens, we are continuously looking for methods to improve our country and see a better India. Peace and prosperity are my hopes for our great country. India will be a great country when every citizen follows the rule of law, supports the nation with their families, and does something to make India a better place.

The India of my dream would be a country where women are safe and walk freely on road. Also, it will be a place where there is freedom of equality to all and everyone can enjoy it in their true sense. Furthermore, it would be a place where there is no discrimination of caste, color, gender , creed, social or economic status, and race. In addition, I see it as a place that sees an abundance of development and growth.

Essay on India of My Dreams

How can we make our dream India possible?

If we collectively look into everything, we will be able to identify the causes and solutions to all of the world’s problems. Similarly, building a great nation and resolving its deep-rooted problems is an attainable goal. India must have the following characteristics in order to become a Great Country:

  • Law That Is Just and Effective
  • Society of Peace
  • Equality of opportunity for everyone
  • Uncorrupted systems
  • Unbiased educational system

When these things become a reality, the entire country will take notice, and everyone will have the opportunity to enjoy a healthy and prosperous life. That is why we must all work together to bring about change in our country and contribute to improving people’s lives. Every person must work with their family and society, as well as support our government, which is also doing its bit by providing adequate education, transportation, food for everybody, and employment opportunities to all segments of society.

Technological Advancement

I would like to see India become more scientifically, technologically, and agriculturally sophisticated. I want to see an India where rationality and scientific ideas triumph over blind faith and bigotry. Because the present age is the age of science and information technology, I would like to bring India to the pinnacle of scientific and technical advancement. Scientific and technological developments are required since they are a critical stepping stone in the development of a country.

Women Empowerment

There is a lot of discrimination against women. But, still, the women are stepping out of their houses and making a mark on different fields and on society. In addition, there are a lot of areas that need to be worked upon whether it is female feticide or restricting them to the household task. Besides, many NGO and social groups have come forward to promote women empowerment .

However, we have to work hard to change the mindset of society. I dream of India as a country that sees women as its assets, not as liabilities. Also, I want to place women on an equal level as men.

Though there are many initiatives by the government to promote education. But there are many people who do not realize its true importance. The India of my dream will be a place where education will be mandatory for all.

I wish there were no uneducated people in India of my dreams. I would like to see India implement a system of education that allows every individual to earn a living. In my dream India, I would like the people of my country to appreciate the value of education and to encourage their children to pursue school rather than working in menial professions at a young age.

Employment Opportunities

Although there are many educated people in India. But, due to corruption and many other reasons they are unable to get a decent job. Besides, there are many employment opportunities in the country but they are either limited or don’t pay well enough. One of the reasons for this is weak industrial growth in the country.

In addition, reservation is a hindrance in this path as most of the deserving candidates lose their good opportunities because of it. Many of these deserving candidates go abroad and work for the economic growth of other countries . The Indian of My dream will be a place where the deserving candidate will get the job first rather than reserved candidates.

Get the huge list of more than 500 Essay Topics and Ideas

Caste Discrimination

Though India got independence in 1947, still we are not able to get complete independence from caste, religion, and creed discrimination. It is shameful to see how in certain parts of the country the people of the lower section of the society are denied the basic rights .

However, there are various social groups that speak for their rights and help them to oppose this oppression. Besides, I dream of an India where there is no discrimination of any kind.

Corruption is one of the major reasons that are hindering the growth of the nation . Instead of making an effort to serve the growth of the country the officials and politicians are busy filling their own pockets. So, I dream of an India where the minister and official are dedicated to their work and wholly for the development of the country.

A big number of well-educated persons appear to be unemployed as a result of politicians’ severe corruption and harshness. Because of the reservation system, the majority of deserving individuals have been denied the opportunity. My hope for India is that deserving applicants, not reserved candidates, receive the correct jobs. I would also like to see India become a place where the government’s primary focus is on the benefit of the country.

In conclusion, the India of my dream will be an ideal country where every citizen will be equal. Also, there is no discrimination of any type. In addition, it will be a place where women are seen as equals to men and respected equally.

Gender Discrimination and Inequality

It’s terrible to see how, despite showing themselves in every aspect of life, women are still regarded as inferior to males. My ideal India will be one in which women are protected in all circumstances, good or bad. There will be no more torture, domestic violence, or male dominance over women. Women will be able to pursue their dreams with greater freedom. In my future country, they should be treated equally and have the right to care. It would be a location where the safety of women would be of the first importance.

Medical Support

The sole goal of the medical profession shall be to protect people free from discomfort and sickness, with proper regard and respect for age and with all due consideration for the health of all the best medical facilities available. Not for profit, but for the sake of service. The elderly would be properly cared for, and life would appear to be worth living for as long as they lived. People in my ideal country would be born healthy, hopeful, and happy, and they would live happily ever after.

India enjoys a rich cultural heritage. People belonging to various castes, creeds, and religions live peacefully in this country. However, certain groups of people try to incite people to serve their vested interests, thereby hampering peace in the country. I dream of an India that is devoid of such divisive tendencies. It should be a place where different ethnic groups live in perfect harmony with each other.

I also dream of India as a nation where every citizen is educated. I want the people of my country to understand the importance of education and ensure that their children seek education rather than indulging in menial jobs at a tender age. Adults who have missed a chance to study during their childhood must also join adult education classes to seek education to find a better job.

I want the government to provide equal employment opportunities for all so that the youth get deserving jobs and contribute to the growth of the nation. I want the country to become technologically advanced and see growth in all sectors. Dreams of India Essay 2 (300 words)

India is a multi-cultural, multi-lingual, and multi-religious society that has seen steady progress in various spheres over the last century. I dream of India that progresses at an even greater pace and joins the list of developed countries in no time. Here are the key areas that need attention in order to make it a better place:

Education and Employment

I dream of India, where every citizen is educated and is able to find a deserving employment opportunity. No one can stop the growth and development of a nation full of educated and talented individuals.

Caste and Religious Issues

India of my dreams would be a place where people would not be discriminated against on the basis of their caste or religion. This would go a long way in strengthening the nation.

Industrial and Technological Growth

While India has seen industrial and technological growth in the past few decades, it is still not at par with many other countries. I dream of India that advances technologically and sees a boom in every sector.

There is a lot of corruption in the country, and its rate is only growing by the day. The common man is suffering at the hands of corrupt politicians who are only interested in fulfilling their own selfish motives. I dream of India that is free from corruption at all levels. It would be where the betterment of the country would be the sole agenda of the government.

Gender Discrimination

It is sad to see that even after proving themselves in every sphere of life, women are still considered inferior to men. I dream of India, where there is no gender discrimination. It would be a place where men and women are treated as equals.

In short, the India of my dreams would be where people feel happy and secure and enjoy a good quality of life.

India of My Dreams Essay 3 (400 words)

India is proud to be home to people of different castes, creeds, and religions. The country is known for its rich culture and unity in diversity. It has also seen a boom in various industries over the past few decades. However, we still have a long way to go. Here are some of the areas that we need to work on in order to make it an ideal nation:

There is a lot of economic disparity in the country. The rich here are becoming richer, and the poor are becoming poorer by the day. I dream of India, where wealth is equally distributed among the citizens.

Lack of education is one of the main hindrances to the growth of the nation. The government is making efforts to spread awareness about the importance of education. However, it should also take steps to ensure that each and every person in the country seeks education.

There is a lack of good employment opportunities in the country. Even those who well-qualified fail to get deserving jobs. The unemployed highly dissatisfied, and they often take the road to crime. I dream of India that provides equal employment opportunities for all so that each of us works for the growth and betterment of our country.

Casteism is another major issue that needs to be worked upon. India of my dreams would be a place where people are not discriminated against based on their caste, creed, or religion.

India of my dreams would a place where women are given due respect and treated as being equal to men. It would be where women’s safety would be of utmost importance.

I dream of India as being a place free of corruption. It would a place where the political leaders would dedicated to serving the countries rather than fulfilling their own selfish motifs.

Technological Growth

India has seen rapid growth in the field of technology. I want it to grow at an even greater pace and attain newer heights to make its place among the first-rate countries.

I dream of India, where people of different castes, creeds, religions, ethnic groups, and economic/ social statuses live in perfect harmony with each other. There should be fair play, and government must ensure equal employment opportunities for all its citizens.

India of My Dreams Essay 4 (500 words)

India of my dreams would a country where freedom of equality enjoyed in its true sense. It would a place where no discrimination is done on the basis of a person’s caste, creed, religion, or social/economic status. I also dream of it as a place that sees an abundance of industrial and technological growth. Here are some of the areas that particularly require attention:

Women Empowerment

Though more and more women are stepping out of their homes and making a mark in different fields, there is still a lot of discrimination against women in our country. From female foeticide to restricting women to household tasks, there a lot of areas that need to worked upon. Many non-profit organizations have come forward to promote women’s empowerment. However, we still have to work a lot on changing the mindset of society. I dream of India that sees women as an asset, not a liability. I want it to be where men and women treated as equals.

Though the government of India is making efforts to promote the significance of seeking education, many people in the country still don’t realize its importance. India of my dreams would be a place where education made mandatory for all. The government must go further to ensure that no child in the country is devoid of education.

Employment Opportunities

Many qualified youths in the country fail to get good employment opportunities. The opportunities limited or do not pay enough to the deserving candidates. This is mainly because of weak industrial growth. Other factors, such as reservations, prevent deserving candidates from getting good opportunities. Many youths who fail to get good employment opportunities in India fly abroad and put their minds to work for other countries’ economic growth, while others roam around unemployed.

Caste Discrimination

The country is still not completely free of discrimination on the basis of caste, creed, and religion. It is sad to see how people belonging to the lower and weaker sections are even denied their basic rights in certain parts of the country. Besides, various fundamentalist and separatist groups provoke people to propagate their religion and talk ill about others. This often leads to unrest in the country. I dream of India, where people not discriminated against based on caste and religion.

Corruption is one of the main reasons why India cannot grow at the speed it should. Instead of making an effort to serve the country, the political leaders here are busy filling their own pockets. I dream of India, where the ministers dedicated wholly and solely to the country’s and its citizens’ development.

India of my dreams would be a country that sees all its citizens as equal and does not discriminate against them based on any criteria. I dream of a place where women respected and seen as equal to men. I also want India to see advancements in science, technology, agriculture, and education in the times to come.

India of My Dreams Essay 5 (600 words)

India is where people belonging to different ethnic groups, castes, and religions live amicably. It boasts of a rich, variegated cultural heritage. Though colonized for a long time, India has come a long way since its independence. It has seen huge social and economic growth over the last couple of decades. However, the county has a lot of economic and social disparity. People also looked down upon because of their caste and religious preferences in many parts of the country. India of my dreams would be where every citizen enjoys true freedom of equality.

Areas of Improvement

There are a number of areas that our country still needs to work upon in order to grow and develop further. Here is a look at the four key areas that require immediate attention:

Education is the building block for any nation. One of the major drawbacks in our country is that people still do not recognize the importance of education. Those living in poverty or below the poverty line particularly overlook the importance of getting educated. They do not realize that lack of education is one of the main factors responsible for their poverty. The Government is taking steps to ensure that more and more people have access to education by promoting the right of free and compulsory education for children and by opening adult education schools. India of my dreams would a place where every citizen educated and skilled.

Gender discrimination another issue that needs to worked upon. While women are becoming aware of their rights and are doing well in various fields, they still have to fight many odds to make their place in society. The birth of a girl child still considered a curse in many parts of the country. Girls not encouraged to go for higher studies. Even those who well-qualified expected to look after their family post-marriage rather than working outside. At work, the wages paid to women are lesser than that paid to men, and the list of discrimination goes on. I dream of an India that is devoid of discrimination against women.

Technological Advancement

While India has seen a lot of growth and advancement in science and technology, it still requires working harder in this sphere. It is sad to see how genius minds from the country fly abroad to seek employment opportunities and contribute to those countries’ technological and industrial advancements rather than contributing to the development of their own country. I dream of India that offers good employment opportunities to deserving individuals and together all work towards the further technological advancement of the country.

The crime rate in India is growing by the day. Numerous rape, robbery, dowry, and murder cases reported daily, and many others go unnoticed/unreported. Lack of education, unemployment, and poverty majorly attributed to this. India of my dreams would be a country where the government is more sensitive toward the safety and security of the people. It would be a place free from all kinds of crime and exploitation.

India has seen rapid industrial growth, technological advancement, and progress in several other fields over the last few decades. However, there is still a lot of scope for improvement. India was once called the golden sparrow because of the prosperity it enjoyed. I want the country to attain that glory yet again. I do not want it to enjoy just economic richness but also become richer culturally and socially. All the citizens of the country must treated equally, and there should no discrimination or injustice.

English Summary

2 Minute Speech On India Of My Dreams In English

Good morning everyone present here, today I am going to give a speech on the India of my dreams. The India of my dreams would be a fully self-sufficient nation. All of the country’s arid, uncultivated terrain would be farmed to produce food grains. I want women to live autonomous lives free from societal shame. It is important to keep in mind that there are still many areas of India where patriarchy is prevalent.

In the India of my dreams, there should be no poverty, no starvation, and adequate housing for everybody. Poor children should attend school to give them the confidence to face the world and lead successful lives. The divide between the affluent and the poor shouldn’t exist. Discrimination based on caste has been the main barrier to Indian society’s development. India has to be free of corruption for the country to develop.

It is important to have good sanitation because it prevents villagers, especially women, from stepping outside and risking their health. The Indian armed forces have to be supplied with cutting-edge equipment.

The India of my dreams I want the next generation to live better lives and receive what they are due as citizens of this nation. I want my nation to remain politically stable and impartial, and our democracy to be the best it can be. Every element of our life should be free of corruption. There shouldn’t be any form of inequality, taxes should be applied both legally and practically, and the wealth gap should be closed. Thank you.

India of My Dreams

“Be proud that you are an Indian: I proudly claim I am an Indian, every Indian is my brother”

— Swami Vivekananda

The contemporary population of India cannot assert this. I following a stretched spell of the British rule, India attained independence in 1947.

The Britishers left no stone unturned to demolish the culture of India. They anglicised our culture, distorted our history and divided our country into two parts. Although after over 60 years of Independence. there have been many changes and innovations which India can be proud of, yet our society which evolved in the modern era, has started accommodating certain wrong practices as well as a way of life.

India of my dreams is full with new drastic changes that led to the upliftment of our nation and its emergence as a prime superpower with negligible curses India of my dreams will be free from the epidemic of overpopulation. This curse is distorting our country’s image on world map. India of my dreams realises the importance of the assumption that small family is happy one, but large is jam-packed with troubles. Family planning and population control will be given top precedence as unless the problem of ever increasing numbers is resolved the other problems allied with it, linger on. Corruption-free nation is also one of my dreams of India because this evil is eating the roots of our country and making it hollow. Corruption, nepotism and dishonesty have pervaded every fabric of our social living.

Right from the peon to the ministers, the whole system has become moth-eaten. In my India, the lesson of honesty and moral values must be taught to the students because they represent the true potentials of our country. Persons of sturdy temperament should be engaged in all the spheres of governance. The Government employees must be told to resist any temptation while discharging their duties and those among them who follow such an instruction must be encouraged and honoured in public. Dishonest persons should not only be dismissed but should be publicly fogged and put behind the bars because no person is permissible to play with my nation’s esteem.

The most precious gift of God to human being is his birth. We sometimes feel like starting to re-live our childhood days when we were free from tensions and work pressure, but can we have the same feeling while speaking of a problem like child labour? We all know the answer. So India of my dreams will be one where children are allowed to be children—studying, playing, laughing and not working in the darkness of ignorance. For building that India, 100 per cent literacy is necessary with free education to all the students up to 12th standard. Especially those who are from below the poverty line families. The maxim of ‘Each one, teach one” will prove very effective to achieve this goal.

Poverty is a condition in which human is deprived of basic needs not only of roti, kapdaa our makaan (food, clothing and shelter), but also, shiksha and chikitsa (education and medication). The most palpable effect of poverty is hunger which impinges on human mental and physical growth, causing undernourished skeletons. This situation will not arise in my India. Every child will be given proper food, shelter and education and jobs security will be given to his parents so that their children do not suffer in future.

India with the world’s best Government will also be one of my dreams. A government which is just not of the people but also by the people and honestly, for the people. Politicians should come out of their political web and approach the people of their areas to listen to their genuine grievances and remove them.

My India envisions politicians who work for the welfare of people through face to face contact instead of sitting in their air-conditioned room with a laptop and a mobile.

There will never be a generation of great men until there has been a generation of free women. Let us face it. For all the progress that is claimed to have been made in India, the fact remains that ours is a patriarchal society in which woman counts for very little. They should have active participation in decision-making both in domestic and political affairs. They should be treated at par with their male counterparts

India of my dreams is one where women are fully liberated, emancipated and content. Proper education with dignity would facilitate all women to face every challenge and make them independent to take decision about their marriage, rights and even about child birth.

Two-thirds of our population still earns a living from agriculture. With the application of new technologies, agriculture must be galvanised. Massive production in crops will help achieve a second “Green Revolution’ and definitely help to end the poverty in my India.

Industry is very important for the economy. We are abundantly enriched with mineral resources which are narnessed to boost manufacturing in my India. Gargantuan industrialisation will amplify production, economy and generate employment. India of my dream is such that we are in a position to give financial assistance to other countries instead of taking from them.

Secularism is what I really want to maintain in my India. Our Indian culture is famous for ‘unity in diversity’. For that we have to pool in all our efforts by removing the barricades among us of race, religion, caste and creed. We should remove all geographical, political, cultural and linguistic blockades and stand together for the cause of the well-being and prosperity of our nation. My India will be free from the curse of casteism and communalism because such detrimental tendencies spread faster than fire and cause irreparable damage to the social fabric of society and unity of the nation. The biggest religion is humanity and my India will favour this.

Reservation for SCs/STs/OBCs should definitely be there to enable them to join the national mainstream economically and socially, but we must ensure that poor people from higher castes as also from lower castes are the main beneficiaries of upliftment in my India. Reservation should be extended to include the economically marginalised section of society irrespective of their caste and community. The main spur is to place the right person in the right place according to his/her qualifications and talent, whatever caste he/she belongs to.

Youth is the best time to be rich, and the worst time to be poor also. Those who are young play a vital role in the development of nation. So, India of my dream is full with job opportunities for talented young persons so that they project themselves in a smooth manner. Employment with lucrative money and well established R&D (Research and Development) centres have been given to new emerging doctors, engineers and scientists so to check the brain drain. Instead of feeling tedious they will be encouraged to yield positive results.

Humanity is more at risk now because of latest developments in the field of nuclear technology and numerous terrorist organisations which are trying to capitalise on them. Terrorism for many years has spread to every part of the country. India of my dream will be free from the menace of terrorism. The naxalites and State-sponsored terrorists will be stamped out from the nation.

India is playing a major rote in maintaining global tranquility by detailing its army personnel to the UN Peacekeeping Force in different trouble spots of the world, which Is quite laudatory. India of my dreams is one which is strong enough to defend herself from any anarchist nation and give a jaw breaking fist also. Our army should be well-equipped with modern equipments and nuclear weapons so that nobody dare ever think to cast an evil glance on any part of our country.

India of my dreams will be a permanent member of the UN Security Council with ‘Veto Power’. Already many countries like UK. France and Russia have supported its claim. This is the time to seize the initiative and bring to the notice of the international community India’s achievements so that it can take right place in the emerging global power. India of my dreams will be a classless society, one without high or low class but with only one class the members of which will live in perfect harmony with one another. It will be full of prosperity, brotherhood, peace, love, care as well as fraternity.

It is pretty much easy to write but very hard to achieve all these. A vision gives a person a sense of guidance or something to achieve. A dream is the strength in one’s life, yet it will not control what one does. The mental process of a dream is all one needs to make it through each day. The dream of this India has to be attained and to achieve that we have to wake up to preserve the grand heritage of this great country—once the cradle of the world civilisation.

An Introduction

When one Sleeps, some people more than others are more likely than others to dream, with closed eyes they view different ideas and images.  These Dreams can also be manifested as sensations and varying emotions. Dreams are not bound by anything, it can be opposite from the life one leads. One cannot control it, Dreams occur involuntarily. And no one has yet deciphered the scientific meaning and reasons for its occurrence. In this article, we will explore different ways to present the speech and learn how to start a speech about Dreams. It can be both a long and short speech about Dreams.

Long and Short Speech About Dreams

Long speech on dreams.

This form of speech about Dreams is helpful for students in grades 8-12 wherein they can speak in detail and present in an understandable format.

Good Morning everyone, respected teachers and my dear friends, I am here today to speak about a rather interesting topic that is Dreams. First, let me start by asking everyone, how many of you had a dream last night. Do you remember what you dreamt of? If you do remember, were you surprised about what the dream was?

There is no need to be shocked or surprised because Dreams do not align with the reality of the lives one leads. They can be very peculiar and it is because Dreams are often the suppressed thoughts and feelings of our subconscious mind. And such Dreams are more of an escape from reality, where we want to get to live a life away from the problems we are facing now and get rid of the struggles.

The world of Dreams is the uncharted territory of wild imagination and wishful thinking. And even scientists believe that Dreams occur during REM (rapid-eye movement) Sleep. Dreams carry with them a lot of emotion that can make it difficult to tell them apart from reality. That is why when one Dreams of something horrific or frightening they tend to breathe rapidly and wake up perspiring and with clammy hands. REM Sleep should be uninterrupted as an intervention may lead to health concerns related to memory consolidation, making it difficult to learn and retain information. Babies or infants have very high learning abilities and one of the main reasons is the deep REM Sleep cycle without interruption.

The dream can be a short one of mere seconds or a few minutes or even a long 20-30 minute one. When one wakes up during their REM Sleep they are more likely to remember the dream.

There are some Dreams that one sees with their eyes open when they go about their lives every day. Dreams that can be considered relatively realistic, that one intends to achieve. They can be called goals, ambitions or just Dreams. These kinds of Dreams can fuel us and inculcate a drive to make strides in achieving the same.

However, there are very few who make their Dreams come true, through an uncanny combination of determination, hard work and willpower. Many fall prey to their self-created victim narrative and don’t dream of a better life. They find an excuse and become lazy without trying to achieve and chase their Dreams. So in the name of safety and security, they don’t take the risks.

The world would be so different if people didn’t dream big and take chances. The world we live in today with comfortable luxuries is a reality because somebody dreamt big and worked to make it a reality. We live in their work of inventions long after they are gone. So to make a difference, on an individual level or for the sake of society do not fret failures. To err is human and failures are part of everyone’s journey, you will only learn what not to do. Failure teaches us more than success. So, dream big, be brave and take chances.

Short Speech on Dreams

This form of a short format of speech about Dreams can be helpful for students in grades 4-7 as they are only starting to understand and this simple and short speech will aid it.

Good morning everyone, the respected Principal, teachers and my dear friends! I Abc (mention your name) are here to present about one of the yet undeciphered topics that are Dreams. Ever since we were kids we are always asked about our Dreams, what do you dream of becoming when you grow up? Arguably Dreams are not just the ones we see when we Sleep at night, but also the ones we see in the broad daylight. These Dreams can be different or the same, but one thing is certain: everybody has Dreams.

Dreams give us a glint of shimmer and hope of becoming someone we wish to be. It is like an energy drink for our goals and ambitions. No matter what those Dreams are, it is worth working towards it. It is obvious that some of our Dreams are different from what this society might deem as a problem or trivial.

We should have a single-minded focus and work towards it and prove to ourselves more than others that our Dreams do make a difference.

Achieving your Dreams is not a cakewalk, it takes a lot of will power and patience. You have to make it work for yourself, don’t feel lesser than if anyone is disappointed in you for trying to achieve your Dreams. Believe in yourself, everything is possible, with proper planning and strategizing. One needs to be committed while executing the plan. And stay true to your path without losing focus so you can live the dream. The world is an endless realm of possibilities and Dreams are just the beginning of a beautiful life ahead.

10 Lines Speech on Dreams

This is a short speech helpful for students in grades 1-3 as one can convey in simple sentences.

Involuntary actions of our imagination and overthinking manifests as Dreams.

It can seem very real as Dreams also carry sensations and emotions.

There can be 2 ways one knows and understands Dreams.

One is when they dream while aSleep and other times when they are wide awake and have Dreams.

Not everyone remembers their Dreams which they see when Sleeping.

Dreams can also be categorized as goals one set and want to work for achieving them.

It is ignorant to say that you can achieve anything and everything just by dreaming.

To make Dreams come true requires daily practice, dedication and perseverance.

Like if you dream to be a soccer player, you have to practice daily and know the rules of the game. And if you dream to be a writer, you have to keep at it in proper form as a daily routine or habit.

Everything requires work, Dreams can make the hard journey beautiful as one has hope.

An Example of a Speech on Dreams

Good Morning to everyone present here today on this very fine day.

I hope you all have had a nice long holiday with your loved ones or yourself.

Dreams. We all have Dreams, either when we are a Sleep or when we are away, which is called daydreaming or the Dreams about things that we are passionate about in life.

As we all know, Dreams are an integral part of everyone's life. Because life is meaningless without Dreams. Our lives will be like a lost ship in the sea sailing with no direction and purpose. I don't think anyone wants to see themselves in such a situation. Without Dreams, life is like chasing an invisible shadow that has no substance or meaning.  Even those who succeeded in life had to chase the Dreams that made them like today. Interestingly, such people do not give up their Dreams and set new standards in life one after another in order to reach the pinnacle of success. If we have no Dreams and nothing to work on, life will certainly be purposeless and monotonous. We lose interest in life and soon begin to hate it.

Now, when I'm talking about the important role that Dreams play in our lives, it can be difficult to summarize it in one word. However, a person without a dream resembles a bird without wings, so it can be said that he cannot fly. We often see people who criticize others as daydreamers. But is it possible to imagine this world in an advanced state when people dream and do not dare to make it happen?

Life undoubtedly presents challenges in pursuing our Dreams, but in this situation, one gives up or continues to work towards them despite obstacles. It's not easy, but it's certainly not impossible. When you dream, you have to put it into action, sweat and blood.

Many failures can occur while we are working on our Dreams, but these failures do not prevent us from going the way, but ours that we can achieve what we want. It should strengthen your beliefs and beliefs. Dreams are a constant driving force and give meaning to life. Still, I would like to mention that we also need to have a positive outlook on life and be always ready to stay one step ahead in order to realize our Dreams.

Opportunities do not always knock at our doorsteps daily. We tend to miss many opportunities in life just because we don't have the courage to do things. Every time you leave things for tomorrow and say you will start over from tomorrow, that day will never come, which is why you need to start now. It's so important at first that you can start with at least a few small steps. Japanese people know this secret. Because they take on their normal work and achieve their goals at any cost. If you want to learn harmonium, guitar, and dance, start learning right away, without waiting for tomorrow. No one knows if tomorrow will come! Once you start taking a small step, one day you are sure to find your way.

I sincerely believe that all of us will never give up on our Dreams and will continue to work persistently to make our Dreams come true. All you need to do is dare to dream and put it into action.

Thank you all for listening and being patient.

Speech on My Dream

Dreams are like stars in your personal universe, guiding the path to life’s greatest journeys. They represent your aspirations, hopes, and desires that inspire you every day.

Your dream could be big or small, but it’s your unique heart’s desire. It’s like a sneak peek into your future, showing what you truly want to achieve.

1-minute Speech on My Dream

Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls,

Let’s talk about dreams. Not the ones that visit us in sleep, but the dreams that keep us awake, that make our hearts beat faster. I have a dream. It’s a simple dream, yet it’s as big as the sky.

My dream is to build a world where every child gets a chance to go to school. You see, education is a powerful tool. It’s like a magic wand that can open new doors, bring light into dark places, and spark the flame of change. But sadly, many children around the world don’t have this magic wand. They don’t go to school.

Imagine a world where all children, whether they live in a big city or a tiny village, whether they are rich or poor, can learn and grow in a school. They can read books, solve math problems, and understand the world around them. This is the world of my dreams.

To make my dream come true, I need help. We all need to join hands. We need to tell everyone that education is not a luxury, it’s a right. Every child deserves to go to school.

In the end, my dream is not just about building schools. It’s about building a future, a better future for all children. Because when children learn, they can dream. And when they dream, they can change the world.

2-minute Speech on My Dream

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Let’s talk about a dream, not the ones we see when we sleep, but the dreams that keep us awake at night. A dream so big and bright, it lights up our hearts. This is the dream I want to share with you today.

My dream is a world where every child can go to school. Picture this: a place where no child is left behind because they can’t afford books or uniforms. A place where the light of education shines in every corner, and the darkness of ignorance is chased away. I dream of a world where education is not a privilege but a right.

The second part of my dream is a world without hunger. Think of a place where no one goes to bed with an empty stomach. A world where food is not a luxury but a given. Every plate filled with nutritious food, every child growing up healthy, every stomach satisfied. I dream of a world where hunger is a thing of the past.

Next, I dream of a world filled with kindness. Just imagine a place where every person has a heart full of love. A place where people help each other without a second thought. Where kindness is the language that every heart speaks. I dream of a world where hate has lost its way and love leads the way.

What is a dream without a little fun and laughter, right? I dream of a world filled with joy. Picture a place where every face wears a smile. A world where laughter rings out in every corner. Where joy is not a fleeting moment but a way of life. I dream of a world where happiness is the norm.

Lastly, I dare to dream of a world where peace reigns. Think of a place where every child can play without fear. A world free of wars and violence. Where the sound of bullets is replaced by the laughter of children. I dream of a world where peace is not a distant dream but a living reality.

In conclusion, my dream might seem big and a bit impossible. But remember, every great dream starts with a dreamer. Just like a tiny seed grows into a mighty tree, our small steps can turn these dreams into reality. So, let’s dream big, work hard, and create the world we want to live in. After all, we are the architects of our future. And remember, if you can dream it, you can do it. Thank you!
